Collingwood Canadian Whisky

August 31, 2015 by whiskey Leave a Comment

The Collingwood Canadian Whisky is a light, smooth, blended Canadian whisky that has a distinct maple flavor on your palate.  It is a good sipping whisky to be enjoyed on a chilly, snowy day.  I visualize a back porch and a roaring fire pit.  You are sitting back with your feet up whilst the burning, crackling fire soothes your body.  The Collingwood Canadian Whisky provides a nice back-drop as your fingers cradle the glass and enjoy the warmth of the whisky and the fire.

The tasting notes for the Collingwood Canadian Whisky are as follows —

Nose:  Light, sweet with a medium to heavy maple aroma, a flowery-floral note is in the background

Taste/Palate:  Sweet tea flavor, slightly spicy, light honey and exotic fruits

Finish:  Spicy-ness starts off strong and slowly dissipates, drying on the tongue but maple flavor still lingers.

Please provide your comments and thoughts on this lovely Canadian whisky.
