Lovers of Whisky Journey
Firstly, the lovers of whisky journey started while I served with the U.S. Air Force (USAF) overseas in England. My late father-in-law, Malcolm, introduced Jim Beam whiskey to me.
Jim Beam tasted a bit rough, and it burned the back of my throat. I needed to catch my breath, and then the cough followed. Once Malcolm heard the cough, he replied, “Isn’t it smooth.” My thoughts didn’t lean toward the smooth whiskey but a throat-ripping, rough flavor.
Secondly, he told me I would get used to it and, in time, I would like and enjoy it. I was curious about scotch and started researching different scotch whiskies (tasting and drinking). On my journey of whisky, I became a lover of Glenmorangie Signet Single Malt Scotch whisky.
World Whiskies
Next, during my tours of duty with the Air Force, I drank samples of Scottish, American, Welsh, Japanese, Canadian, and Irish whiskies. Throughout the years, I found other whisky lovers far and wide through my journey to other countries.
- Crown Royal XO, Cognac Cask Finished whisky
- American Cask Strength whiskies and mixing water
- Whiskey pairing with parmesan, sharp cheddar and brie cheeses.
- A sampling of Irish whiskies
- Aging room cigar with a nice ash burn
- Whiskies paired with chocolate
Also, these whisk(e)y products will be enjoyed by citizens in their country and other nations worldwide.
