The Hole-in-One Whiskey Martini reminds you of playing golf and the need to sink your golf ball with a smooth stroke with whiskey. I would recommend that you use a scotch whiskey with an age statement due the smoothness of the whiskey. I used Macallan 12 Year Old Scotch Whiskey to make this martini because of the smooth finish from the sherry cask. Ingredients
- 2 oz. Macallan scotch
- ¾ oz. dry vermouth
- ¼ tsp. fresh lemon juice
- Dash orange bitters
Steps
- Fill a cocktail shaker ½ to 2/3 with ice.
- Add the scotch, dry vermouth, fresh lemon juice and dash of orange bitters to the cocktail shaker.
- Shake the cocktail shaker for 30 seconds to 1 minute and strain into a chilled martini glass or cocktail glass.
