Missouri Mule Cocktail

August 29, 2015 by Leave a Comment

The Missouri Mule Whiskey Cocktail is an excellent mixed drink which definitely kicks like a mule.  The applejack and bourbon gives the punch and the lemon juice provides an extra sting.  The color makes the drink seem innocent….until you take a sip!  Once you have a couple or three of these, you probably will not be doing a whole lot of kicking yourself.  I used Four Roses bourbon in the mix.

This recipe came from The Kentucky Bourbon Cookbook, by Albert W.A. Schmid, Foreword by Dean Fearing.
